The couple, who has kept their relationship under wraps, will be formally engaged in a few days but is yet to set a wedding date…
The rumours of a possible romance brewing between the two have been doing the rounds for the last two years, but the confirmation of it has come only now from the couple.
Speaking to a newspaper, Prasanna confessed that he and Sneha became “great friends” while filming Achamundu Achamundu and, needless to say, continued their friendship over the years. He said that he and Sneha wanted to give ample time to their relationship.
Now, when almost two years have elapsed since they began seeing each other, the couple has come out with an admission of love and a plan for wedding.
Prasanna says he is overwhelmed by the good wishes of the people. However, he says the wedding date hasn’t been finalized yet.
The families of both Prasanna and Sneha will now take over and decide the marital formalities.
After several months of playing hide-and-seek with the media and maintaining a stoic silence about their relationship, looks like Sneha and Prasanna have finally decided to tie the knot. And it was Prasanna who made the sudden announcement through a press release to the media.
It is understood that the engagement will take place in a few days. Prasanna stated, “Sneha and I have decided to marry soon with the blessings of our parents. The engagement will be announced later. Someone has mentioned that our marriage would be in March 2012. There is no truth in that information. We have planned to announce our marriage date properly. Till that, please wait!”
Interestingly, Sneha is said to be older than Prasanna and is reported to have also been guiding him, not just in terms of fashion but even career too. Ever since the two acted in Achamundu Achamundu, rumours have been floating about the couple’s closeness as they have frequently attended events together but avoided getting photographed together.
This is the first time that the couple has openly admitted a fact that industry insiders have known for long.
