Rowdy Rathore is an upcoming Bollywood action film directed by Prabhu Deva, starring Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha in the lead roles. Produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Ronnie Screwvala, the film is scheduled for release on 15 June, 2012. The filming started on 10 August 2011. It is the third remake of the Telugu film Vikramarkudu. It was remade as Siruthai in tamil with karthi in the lead. In all languages, it has proved itself more than a hit.
