Bollywood badshah Shah Rukh Khan found a superstar tourist guide in Malayalam actor Mohanlal on a visit to Kerala, where he went to launch a resort.

“The great Mohanlalji… so much humility and grace. Showed me around Kollam like an excited child,” Khan posted on his Twitter page, along with a picture of the 51-year-old southern actor in a ferry.

The actors seemed to have bonded well as they also went on a leisure boat ride. Khan posted another image of several fans on a bridge, waving at them.

He wrote: “Visited Kollam Raviz resort in Kerala… was so touched by the love of all the ppl. Awesome resort. People waving to me from a picturesque bridge… truly God’s own country… Kerala (sic).”

Chammak Challo from Ra.One has leaked

Kareena Kapoor’s item song ‘Chammak Challo’ which international star Akon has composed for SRK’s ‘Ra.One’ has already made its way to the net.

Shah Rukh Khan’s ambitious home-production Ra.One is already creating a lot of buzz, much before its release in the latter half of the year. But the latest on the film is that one song from the film has been leaked and already made its way to the internet. The song we are talking about is the same number which international star Akon was to compose for the film.

SRK unsure about turning RA.One into 3D

Cinema fans, better be prepared, as after the lull, there’s a big budget storm waiting ahead. Shah Rukh Khan who’s set to release his ambitious mega-budget offering RA.One in Diwali is leaving no stone unturned to make it popular among the audience already. The actor who was at Ambience Mall , Gurgaon on Wednesday to launch the theatrical trailer of the film is on an All-India tour to promote and popularize his characters ‘RA.One’ and ‘G.One’.

“You must be wondering why I’m promoting the film now, when its release is still 4-5 months away. Our idea is to familiarize the audience with the characters of the film, so that when the film actually hits the theatres, they know what they are all about.”

SRK, who should have ideally titled the film on his character ‘G.One’ chose to name it RA.One because he was really enamoured with the characters of Gabbar Singh, Mogambo and Joker who were remembered more than the main hero.

When asked if Arjun Rampal is playing RA.One, SRK refused to spill the beans. “You’ll know soon when the second poster of the film will come out.” But SRK is gaga about Arjun Rampal’s performance rating it “fabulous”. The actor who is contemplating on turning portions of the movie in 3D is not sure if it could happen.

“We are trying to turn some portions in 3D, but I am not sure if it can actually happen. There are various reservations to it. This decision is yet to be finalized.”

SRK also denied that RA.One is a sci-fi film and terms it as a family entertainer. “It’s not a sci-fi film, we are only using VFX technology for the first time in India. But it’s a complete family film which has a father, a mother and a son. “

When asked about Kareena’s role, SRK could not compliment her enough. “She’s the most beautiful mom ever. I mean she’ll be a beautiful mom in real life as well, but in the film she looks very pretty.”

While SRK and Salman still can’t see eye to eye, the actor remarked he liked two songs of Ready and wish the team of the movie all the best.

The megastar was in Chandigarh when he heard about yesteryear’s actor Raj Kiran’s condition. “I heard about Raj Kiran while I was in Chandigarh. I was shocked. Once I reach Mumbai, we will do everything possible to help him. I hope he gets cured of his ailment soon.”

SHAH RUKH KHAN on  his new film ALWAYS KABHI KABHI

I still cry, I still laugh, I crack jokes, I get stressed, I feel disturbed but I think you people love me so much because I could be human,” he told reporters Wednesday at the music launch of his latest production “Always Kabhi Kabhi”, releasing June 17. “Even though I have this pedestal where I stand which says I am a big star but actually I am nobody till I work hard to make you smile,” added the 45-year-old. To give a Midas touch to the film, Shah Rukh has appeared in a promotional song of the film “Always Kabhi Kabhi”. “It’s not an item number. It’s the beginning of the film.

The music and the lyrics of course make it a peppy number,” he clarified. This directorial debut of Roshan Abbas is also launching two new faces – Zoa Morani and Satyajeet Dubey. Actor Giselle Montario of “Love Aaj Kal” fame and Ali Fazal who did a small role in Aamir Khan-starrer ” 3 Idiots” play lead roles in the film. Set in a school, “Always Kabhi Kabhi” is about four unique youngsters trying to compete with pressure of growing up and many firsts that everyone experiences in high school. As today’s school life has changed a lot, King Khan could hardly identify with any except the determination of the youths to accomplish their goal. “The youth part of the film is the same as it was in my time, but the way they deal with their life has changed.

There are many things in the film that I have not done in my school life. So there are many things I couldn’t identify with,” said Shah Rukh. “Life has changed so much. But the thing that the film says, follow your dream, I could easily identify with. I never thought that I would come to Mumbai and do so much of work but yes I always aspired to be an actor or a sportsman. The film also shows that we should do something that I am willing to do instead of choosing the way where I can lead an easy life,” he added.

Giselli(Love Aaj Kal fame) wants to thank SHAH RUKH KHAN

Brazilian beauty Giselli Monteiro, 22, who shot to fame with Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal, got her second film, Always Kabhi Kabhi because of Shah Rukh Khan. Directed by Roshan Abbas, the film is the first teen comedy from SRK’s production house Red Chillies Entertainment, and Giselli says she is dying to meet the actor to thank him.

“I was told by Roshan that Shah Rukh spotted me in Love Aaj Kal and wanted me for the film. I’m looking forward to meeting him to say a big thank you,” she says. On SRK’s working ways, she says, “Right through the making of the film, he had suggestions for us. However, he used to pass them on to Roshan, who further helped us with our scenes,” said Giselli, adding, “I’m told that he wanted us to be natural and on our own than worry about what he thought of our performance.”

The actor says she and others were asked to closely study the body language of students for the role. “I was told to take a cue from teenagers around, on how to walk, talk and behave,” she says. The film is set to release on June 17.

SHAH RUKH KHAN suffer a leg injury

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who has been busy with the shooting of his super hero film Ra.One and action thriller Don: The Chase Continues, hurt his leg after it got stuck in a puddle recently. The actor who attended the music launch of his forthcoming home production Always Kabhi Kabhi here Wednesday looked chic in a black shirt and formal trousers, and he even walked straight. But a slight discomfort on his face couldn’t be missed.

Asked about his condition, Shah Rukh told reporters: “I have hurt my leg. I wish I could say it happened during the shoot of Ra.One or Don. But it happened when my leg got stuck into a puddle recently. I turned my leg to take out my foot and the meniscus (cartilage) got ruptured.”

Since Shah Rukh was a sports enthusiast since his school days, injuries have been a part of his life. While working in films, he first suffered a hairline fracture on his knee cap that he sustained while shooting for Koyla in 1990s. In the past five years, he tore a shoulder muscle, suffered a back injury and has undergone surgery too. He is also busy with his Indian Premier League (IPL) team Kolkata Knight Riders

SHAH RUKH KHAN on his visit to Chinnaswamy stadium

There was no clear brief on whether he would come or if he would, when he would arrive. Each cop had his own timing on when SRK had checked into ITC Gardenia and had their own tales to tell. The heightened security around Chinnaswamy Stadium was the only indication that Khan would indeed be around. But for more than an hour after the match started, there was no sign of the king in the stands. And boy, when he arrived there was an electrifying buzz that only true blood can yield.

SRK’s retinue was in full strength. Bouncers were big enough not to even let a fly buzz past. A sea of people gathered at the VVIP lounge just to get a glimpse, click a picture and perhaps even touch King Khan. After a lot of pushing and jostling about, ‘Metrolife’ got to speak to King Khan. Surprisingly, the king struck a different appeal in flesh and blood: very approachable and more than willing to lend his ear to any questions, all within two or three minutes before his bouncers took over.

Shah Rukh shared his thoughts on the City, his role in ‘Ra one’ and his upcoming projects. Talking about his visit to the City, he says, “I normally travel with my wife but this time I had to come here alone because she’s unwell and I had to leave the kids behind with her. Bangalore is a special place where I would come visiting as a child.”

The visit to the City took King Khan back in time. Calling it the City of his childhood, Shah Rukh says that his family (grandparents) used to live in Bangalore. “It’s always nice to come back to the City,” he says and adds, “the weather is beautiful and the place has grown since the last time I was here.”
That SRK has shed a couple of kilos was evident on his face. Talking about his role in Ra one, he says, “I play a super hero. I had to work really hard and lost a couple of kilos for that role. Now I am working doubly hard to regain all that lost weight. My character is called ‘G. One’ and I am expected to perform some supernatural stunts. I’ve enjoyed my role.”

SRK revealed that he’s in talks with Yash Raj and Vishal Bharadwaj for a few projects. The IPL has ignited the sportsman inside Shah Rukh and as soon as he arrived on Friday evening, he headed with his team to the Chinnaswamy Stadium and even tried his hand at the nets. “I enjoy just about any sport. We were here till 11 in the night practising for the team owner’s game,” he observes. When asked about all the attention he received wherever he went and the frenzy he unleashed knowingly or unknowingly, he says, “I am humbled by all the love and affection people have for me. I will reciprocate the same.”

Asin to team up with Shahrukh

It seems the ‘Ghajini’ star Asin Thottumkal is in much demand these days, and is all set to join the SRK camp soon. Reportedly, the actress, who has already worked with two Khans of the industry, will be seen playing the leading lady opposite Shahrukh Khan in a movie based on Chetan Bhagat’s ‘2 States’.

Buzz is that Asin, who has already teamed up with Aamir Khan in ‘Ghajini’ and Salman Khan in ‘London Dreams’ and ‘Ready’, was the first choice of producer Sajid Nadiadwala and director Vishal Bhardwaj for the SRK-starrer forthcoming movie. “Asin, who is already working in Nadiadwala’s production Housefull 2, recently met up with the producer and director to discuss the film. Both the producer and the director feel she is best suited for the role and Asin, too, is excited about the prospect of working with SRK and that too in a Bhardwaj film,” informed an industry source.

‘2 States’ chronicles around the life of a young couple Krish and Ananya, who belong to Delhi and Tamil Nadu respectively, and come to know each other while studying at IIM, Ahmedabad. Things take an ugly turn when they fall in love with each other, and their parents are against their ‘cross cultural’ marriage. Asin is most likely to play the role of the Tamil Nadu girl, but the news has not been confirmed yet.

Arjun Rampal and SRK are still friends

There were speculations about once upon a time good friends, Arjun Rampal and Shah Rukh Khan having a fall out. It is heard that Arjun was not a part of SRK’s guest list anymore, and the actor couldn’t be bothered. However, SRK and Arjun proved the gossip mongers wrong when they were seen bonding together at the IPL match recently, where Kolkata Knight Riders played Rajasthan Royals. Arjun Rampal, who officially hosted all apost IPL matches last season, wasn’t as encouraged what with his support in the form of Lalit Modi being asked to leave. However, Rampal, we hear, gave full support to KKR and helped the post KKR-RR bash be a huge hit. Shah Rukh was seen bonding with not only Arjun, but also Hrithik Roshan and Chunky Pandey who sported KKR tees and cheered the team all the way to victory.
So, Arjun and SRK are very much in the same gang. And they are surely partying hard together.

Rumours say that Shah Rukh Khan will have a lip lock with Kareena Kapoor in Ra.One

Shah Rukh Khan will leave no stone unturned to achieve all he can for his film ‘Ra.One’. Shah Rukh who is known and hailed for his one woman man image will be seen kissing Kareena Kapoor in ‘Ra One’. The scene apparently is being included in a song. Insiders said that the kiss is nothing explicit, but something that can be termed as ‘simple and sweet’. It can be remembered that Aamir Khan and Kareena Kapoor, too, indulged in a romantic lip-to-lip in ‘3 Idiots’. When asked Kareena said she has kissed on screen before and that it is no big deal. She also added that all the four Khans– Aamir, Salman, Shah Rukh, Saif – are so amazing that she always looked forward to doing movies with them.

Besides, Shah Rukh will bring every possible technology into town to make viewing his ‘Ra.One’ a lifetime experience for his audiences. Promising to change the movie-going experience for cinegoers in Mumbai, for the first time, the Dolby surround 7.1 system is reportedly being installed in several multiplex theatres in the run-up to the sci-fi`s release. And this is not just a vain wish to be one-upped on all the other technically-sophisticated films. SRK is going all-out to ensure ‘Ra.One’ sets a new benchmark for technical finesse in Hindi cinema. In June, the film`s technical team headed by Shah Rukh will be in Los Angeles to get special sound effects done for the film. These effects, never used in any Indian film, can only be experienced fully only when the new Dolby equipment is operational. Oscar winning sound engineer Resul Pookutty will also go to Los Angels.

Shah Rukh Khan on Kolkata Knight Rider’s recent success

Shah Rukh Khan believes the Kolkata Knight Riders’ cool attitude has made a difference to their fortunes this season.

“The team is cool and calm… Gautam (Gambhir), (Jacques) Kallis and (Yusuf) Pathan bring a lot of calm to the side… The juniors have complemented the seniors… Dav (Whatmore) and the support staff are responsible for this turnaround. We don’t have any tension and believe in performance,” the KKR principal owner said at a promotional organised by Nokia on Saturday. Shah Rukh said the team didn’t wish to be influenced by talk about making the playoffs or winning the title. “Whenever I’ve spoken to Gautam or Dav, it’s not been about the semis or final… The talk is always about the next match. That’s been the whole attitude of the team. They always look together. We’ve been patient, resilient, honest and hardworking. Even if we win the final, I’ll not be tension-free. We’ll be confident… One of my desires has been to win the IPL for this city… I’ll be happy if I can achieve this.”

But how tough has it been to be associated with the side without Sourav Ganguly and the emotions surrounding him? “We respect the emotions of the city. We still play for Dada and KKR… We would have loved him to be our mentor. As a son of the soil of this country, I belong to every city… I’m Shah Rukh Khan, son of India. They’ll all love me if I win it for the city.” He said he felt a certain closeness with the people here. “I feel extremely close to the people of this city. I hardly get to meet people. I left Delhi when I was too young and I’m too busy in Mumbai. That’s the reason I do those victory laps after every game…”

SRK denies the rumours on his liplock with Kareena

In 22 years of his showbiz career, Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has perhaps hardly ever locked lips with his heroines and says he never will. He admits he is not just uncomfortable about kissing on screen, but doesn’t even know how to do it.

“I don’t kiss on screen because I don’t know how to do it. I don’t do it because I feel weird…and I feel those who do it in films, do it well already,” Shah Rukh told reporters here on Friday.

“I feel discomfort in doing two things for films. When anyone comes to narrate a story to me, I tell them two things – main ghoda nahin chalaunga aur main choomunga nahin (I won’t ride a horse and I won’t kiss),” added the 45-year-old.

Shah Rukh’s well-known witty side came through when a young journalist asked him if reports that he has kissed Kareena Kapoor for his upcoming sci-fi superhero film Ra.One, are true.

Looking dashing in a formal black suit, he seemed to be quite amused at being asked such a question at a press conference meant for the formal announcement of Tag Heuer’s tie-up with Buddh International Circuit, the host of Formula One in India.

“Where did you read these reports,” he asked.

“They are all over the internet, probably reported from Mumbai,” she said nonchalantly.

“How old are you my dear?” asked Shah Rukh, and the lady responded: “I am 25. But you shouldn’t ask a girl her age.”

Came SRK’s quick rejoinder: “Well, dear, you don’t ask such questions to men! You’ve asked me this, I am a simple guy, married man with kids…but don’t ask such a question to men on the street! But, because you are young, and possibly just stepped into journalism, please don’t believe whatever you read on the internet. It may not always be true.”

Shah Rukh says if a film requires him to do things which make him uncomfortable, he quits it.

“I don’t kiss simply because I am not comfortable doing it. I am pretty uncomfortable even at laughing in my films…so whenever there is a scene where I have to laugh, or where there is a scene where I am uncomfortable or I feel I will not be able to do justice to it, and whenever there are animals involved and I feel they might be mistreated, I quit the film in its narration itself.”

SRK’s One Crore Suit for Ra.One is being Digitalized

Shahrukh’s outfit, a blue coloured costume was made in Los Angeles keeping in mind the 3D aspects of this action-packed thriller, for a whopping one crore rupees! Now this has become even more expensive as the outfit is being digitalized, that is to say it is being modified to enable computer generated graphics.

Sources say that Shahrukh’s bodysuit for his character G.One will be created with the help of special effects as when the actor saw the initial rushes of G.One he wasn’t satisfied and wanted to improvise on it. After speaking to animation and marketing professionals, they decided to add special effects to the costume.

‘Ra.One’ meaning Random Access – Version 1.0 is scheduled for release on October 26, 2011 and the first look that was unveiled recently has fetched much critical acclaim!

Looks like these latest additions will go perfectly well with the character played by SRK – G.One who is made of solid electricity and has come to the reality from the virtual world, to fight the evil force – Ra.One.

Shah Rukh and Abhinay Deo in discussions of a movie

Apparently Shah Rukh Khan and Abhinay Deo are in talks for a possible project. The two have had a few meetings.  They were supposed to finalise things but the IPL put paid to their hopes. Shah Rukh cancelled all his business meetings because he wanted to be with his team. So the announcement apparently has been pushed forward. Abhinay Deo is the Director of Delhi Belly (2011) and Game (2011)

Shah Rukh Khan in a TV Serial

Shah Rukh Khan kicked off his career with television serials like Fauji and Circus two decades ago. But he aimed to reach higher-Bollywood.  Not only did he reach the silver screen, but struck gold there. Yet, the actor bowed down in respect for the television industry, which gave him his first opportunity.
He returned to TV with reality shows like Kaun Banega Crorepati, Kya Aap Paanchvi Paas Se Tez Hain? and Zor Ka Jhatka, leaving behind fans asking for more. Ever since, TV has become a second home for the actor.  With his on and off relationship with TV, we hear SRK is returning once again, this time in a primetime soap titled Sasural Simar Ka.
The actor who has always valued his early struggling days on TV will make a come back through a cameo appearance on the show.
The show also marks the return of India’s beloved child bride, Avika Gor aka Anandi of Balika Vadhu.  It wasn’t a cake walk for the producers of the show to get King Khan to do the cameo. Says a source, “The serial is a highly anticipated fiction show, especially because it marks the return of Avika Gor.
It was not easy to convince SRK considering his packed schedule. He heard the entire track of the show and the story appealed to him because the story of the protagonist resembles the actor’s own life. Thus, he agreed and even started shooting for the show last night.”
But is he playing himself in the serial? We guess! The source added, “SRK would be seen in a couple of episodes but the cameo is kept under wraps. The channel does not want to disclose what he will be playing in the show.” The channel remained unavailable for comment.

DON II

Excel Entertainment had put Shah Rukh Khan starrer Don 2 on the back burner because Amitabh Bachchan might soon be part of the sequel to his yesteryear classic Don, to be produced by Nadeem Irani and Nasir Irani, sons of the producer of 1975 Don. SRK’s recent shoulder injury had made matters worse. But now everything is sorted out and Excel Entertainment is going ahead with Don 2.

According to our source, Farhan Akhtar will direct the film starring all the four actors who were in Don – Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Arjun Rampal and Boman Irani. On the other hand, the Iranis have made no headway as yet in their plans to make the sequel with Bachchan.

While Shah Rukh, Arjun and Boman had given their consent to Excel Entertainment a long time ago, Priyanka was signed a few days before she went to the US to shoot for Ashutosh Gowariker’s What’s Your Rashee?

Our source from Bollywood says, “Authorities at Excel Entertainment were not too sure if they should go with Priyanka, but lately Priyanka has become a big name after delivering back-to-back hits – Fashion and Dostana and winning the best actress award recently. The decision confirming Priyanka’s presence in Don 2 was taken only recently.”

A source close to Excel Entertainment told Mumbai Mirror, “Don had done rather well with Shah Rukh. Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan Akhtar (partners in Excel) were very keen that they make the sequel. Things were not falling in place initially, but now everything is sorted out.”

Sidhwani confirmed the story and said, “We start shooting Don 2 in January 2010. The entire film will be shot in Berlin and Ireland. Now that we know that Vijay is dead and Shah Rukh is just Don in the film, the remaining part of the story is going to be very interesting.”

Shah Rukh Khan’s home production Ra.One has been making news for it’s resemblance to Rajinikant’s superhit Robot . The film promises loads of special effects. International singer Akon is expected to sing a song for the film. The film is make keeping in mind the interest of kids and families. Shot in contemporary London Ra.one story is about a superhero who has an amazing ability to freeze electricity. In the movie Ra.one, Shah Rukh Khan portrays a Miami based software engineer named Shekhar, who as a video-game hero fights off his self-created techno-monster Ra One. Ra.1 Story also flows into a situation wherein Shah Rukh Khan falls for Kareena Kapoor who plays the lead role opposite Shah Rukh as the mother of a 8-year-old and whom he starts imagining  as one of the characters.

Shah Rukh Khan’s character in the Ra.on story is known as G.One which stands for Good One. The actor, who had to pump out lots of iron to gain a hunky look for his super-hero role joked over Twitter on May 31, that he feels as if G.One stands for Gaunt One.

Mohanlal and Shah Rukh’s tour in Kollam
