The makers of ROCKSTAR are getting into fifth gear with respect to the promotion of the film. After touring cities, making number of public appearances, using varied mediums like Television, Radio, etc to promote the film, team ROCKSTAR came up with one of its kind marketing strategy in the form of a live ROCKSTAR concert which took place yesterday evening at Bhavans College in Andheri.
Primarily, the idea of having a concert was to live up the Rockstar moment and just like any other promotional activity it was meant to connect with the audience. As we all know Ranbir Kapoor plays a fanatic rockstar in the film the heartthrob re-lived his character and swayed with his performance. It wasn’t the rock concert in its purest form, however a handful of people misconstrued it to be one and concluded it as a flop show by condemning the grand music show.
It was a memorable evening for the attendees of the magnificent event, who got to see the music maestro A R Rahman and Rockstar Ranbir Kapoor setting the stage on fire, and T-series president Vinod Bhanushali too agrees with it, “The ROCKSTAR Live-In-Concert was a fabulous experience! The powerful performances put up by each artist were a treat. It was a thrill it is to see youngsters in all their glory, basking in the energy of live music. The evening was perfect….”
