Alot has been said about how actors Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra are increasingly getting closer to each other.
There’s buzz now that the two stars have apparently become wary of talking to each other in public as the curiosity around them is growing by the day. But on Friday evening, pictures started going viral on Twitterand other online sites, which show their comfortable body language at a reality show on which they were slated to make an appearance.
Shah Rukh and Priyanka sat side-by-side and whispered into each other’s ears, as the paparazzi had a field day. Sources say, it was during this time that a couple of people surreptously switched on their mobile phone cameras and recorded the two share some laughs together.
Apparently, Shah Rukh and Priyanka were not even supposed to meet each other on these sets if sources are to be believed. According to sources, the time given to Shah Rukh was 4 to 6pm, while Priyanka was to come in between 6 and 7pm. The way the schedules were planned out, sources say, Priyanka’s slot was supposed to start at least half an hour after SRK. Under normal circumstances, the two actors might not have met because they were on two different time slots. But that didn’t happen.
“Shah Rukh got late and informed through his staff that he wouldn’t be able to arrive before 7pm. When Priyanka learnt about it, she decided to wait till Shah Rukh came. The shoot also didn’t start as PC waited for Shah Rukh,” says a source.
Shah Rukh, who was in a hurry to go for an awards function later, decided to quickly wrap up the shoot,but apparently was not surprised to see Priyanka waiting, say sources.
“They shot their segments separately, but in-between spent some time together. Shah Rukh even asked the crew members to wait for sometime as he wanted to catch up with Priyanka before he left,” the source adds.
The real reasons ?
Shah Rukh Khan, leaving no stones unturned in the promotion of Ra.One, may be carrying out this relationship with Piggy Chops as a promotional activity for his mega budget film. Ra.One is not receiving the audience response it actually expected to receive. It seems that Priyanka Chopra, who is getting more international focus these days for gossips related to Gerard Butler and an album along with an international pop singer, is using all her popularity to promote Ra.One on a larger scale. Ra.One has become a prestige issue for the King Khan as his arch rival Salman is going through his most successful period. Salman’s every film is crossing 100 crore mark, irrespective of its budget, story, etc. Even if Shah Rukh doesn’t compare his films success with Salman’s films, he is sure that audiences are gonna compare them. So it can be seen that gossips relating Shah Rukh Khan and Priyanka Chopra might be just another promotional activity.
Earlier it was announced that Rajnikanth is gonna do a cameo in Ra.One. But now it has been almost confirmed that he is not gonna be there. Director Anubhav Sinha has clarified that editing work is on progress and now it will be difficult to add scenes. There was another gossip that Ra.One is might be a 3D venture but later it was confirmed that it is not gonna be 3D.
Ra.One is expected to have a tight competition in South as its gonna be released with Surya’s much awaited A R Murugadoss film ‘7 aum Arivu’ and Vijay’s superhero flick ‘Velayudham’. These two films will have a high opening in Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Andhra which will restrict Ra.One to minimum theatres in South. Lets wait and watch.
